Hill Dove Employment Law is an Auckland-based Employment Advocacy Service founded by David Flewitt in 2020.
We aim to provide personal and affordable advice and representation for employers and professional employees in all areas of Employment Law.
Our services range from negotiation of employment contracts through to representation at meetings, formal Mediation, appearing at hearings before the Employment Relations Authority and Employment Court and all things in between.
We take a personable and practical approach to problem solving, drawing on experience and sound knowledge gained from legal training and experience within the fields of Employment Law and General Litigation.
David is a barrister and solicitor of the High Court of New Zealand, having qualified with a bachelor of laws degree from Victoria University of Wellington in 1988.
His career path is definitely ‘non-linear’ having traversed all aspects of litigation law, before a change of career led to work within the public health sector.
2020 sees David return to the practice of law as an employment advocate.
David is a dedicated, motivated and tenacious advocate, with more than 12 years litigation experience, including experience within the Employment Relations Authority and Employment Court.
David is proof that the empathy gained from the lessons learned from various life experiences are valuable attributes that can be used to solve the problems of others.
